Photographer Scott Robinson shot this stunning photo of Arenal with a long exposure night shot as he sat and watched the volcano. The volcano is located in north-western Costa Rica in the center of Arenal Volcano National Park. At under 7,000 years, Arenal is a young volcano. The volcano slept for hundreds of years until 1968 when it erupted, destroying the small town of Tabacón. Arenal is Costa Rica's most active volcano and offers a stunning show every night as we can see in this photograph.
